My journey began with a microscope slide, designing tools for cancer research. I walked in knowing nothing and learned the domain by sitting with the experts who'd rely on the product every day. That's where I first saw how they move through dense information to make decisions that carry weight.

Most of my career since has been at early-stage startups. Small teams, no playbook, more problems than people. Alongside founders and engineers, I learned to ship, take feedback straight, and fix what wasn't working.

A lot of my work over the past five years has been 0 to 1: taking AI platforms and enterprise products from open questions to launch, mapping messy workflows, deciding how a single interaction should behave.

What's stayed constant is the pull toward purpose-built tools for complex problems, the kind that force me to understand a field properly before I can design anything useful for it.

I care about clarity. I care about integrity. And I care about building systems that support people doing difficult work, not by making things louder, but by making them clearer.
